Chuck Styles is a L.A. based electronic music duo known for their live performance sets filled with Vibey synths, Latin rhythms & dark techno bass.
Francisco Ortiz & John Schimke met in 2016 while working at the same television production company. They combined forces by hosting underground parties by converting a Los Angeles hair salon into what was known as Factory sounds. Blending House & Techno with cinematic visuals surrounding party goers, they performed B2B live sets. From these parties, Chuck Styles was born.
Factory Sounds was an early endeavor that shaped the sound of Chuck Styles.
Their foundation is heavily underground with influences from two different corners of the world. Ortiz & Schimke blend their family musical influences of Latin percussions & European Melodies. Their single Deep Jungle (2020) EP Touch (2020) and album Through The Barrier (2021) reflect these influences. Their next album is set to release second quarter of 2022.
Chuck Styles continue to perform underground parties across LA @ERROR LA @Odyssey.LA. along side DJs such as NK Riot, Joey Avila Brad Moontribe, Dela Moontribe, Choco, Julio Mejia, Friend or Foe and DENIS. They recently performed a live set on KCHUNG Radio 1630 during Deep Hour. Keep a look out for the archived recording.
